MasterClass
Surf + Surfskate Kemp

Cornwall, Crantock/Newquay,

  07.06. - 14.06. 2025

30.08. - 06.09 2025

Perfect surf vacation for those serious about surfing or if you've been stuck in a rut and can't seem to progress. It'll be an intense week packed with surfing, surfskates, mastering all surf techniques, and, of course, plenty of fun.
Thanks to the Smoothstar surf trainer, you'll also gain new insights on how to continue improving even after returning home.

The whole camp accommodates a maximum of 8 people, but even this small group will be divided into smaller ones during water lessons for maximum individual attention and progress.

And as a bonus, the most dedicated surfer with a hunger to keep pushing forward can earn coaching collaboration even after the camp ends.

Who is your coach

My name is Adam Žáček, and I am a surfing instructor with the highest global certification, ISA Surf Coach Level 2. I've been surfing for 11 years and have worked as an instructor for the past 7 years in destinations around the world. I have been helping running surf therapy The Wave Project for couple years. This year, I would like to once again show you the beauty of Cornwall and surfing at the second surf camp completely under my guidance. If you want to learn more about me, you can read a few articles at these links: www.freeride.cz/surf/adam-zacek-ziskal-jako-prvni-cech-instruktorskou-license-isa-level-2 www.freeride.cz/surf/rozhovor-s-adamem-zackem-nejen-o-charitativnim-the-wave-projectu

Why Cornwall

GPTempDownload 14_edited.jpg

I discovered Cornwall in 2014 and found that this magical piece of Southwest England is a completely different world. It's often nicknamed the British California or Kernowfornia, mainly for its laid-back surfing vibe that's all around. Crystal-clear turquoise water like somewhere in the Caribbean, stunning cliffs, secluded beaches, and coves. You won't believe you're in England. The local beaches have also been the backdrop for many famous films and series. It's no wonder Cornwall is one of the sunniest spots in Great Britain. The beaches are sandy, and the waves in this area are perfect for both complete beginners and advanced surfers. With my experience and knowledge of local beaches, I guarantee that we'll always go for a lesson at the best possible time according to the conditions. Plus, for the whole week, you'll be equipped with high-quality wetsuits, so you definitely won't feel cold.

If you have any doubts about the quality of the local waves, a plethora of surfers who grew up riding these waves speaks for itself. You might encounter, for example, our friend, U17 and Open British Champion, Lauren Sandland, in the waves. In nearby Newquay, there's currently junior sensation Lukas Skinner (his father, a Longboarder, won the European Cup in Portugal in the Longboard category). Or my friends Alana Stokes, a multiple British champion, and Big wave surfer Tom Butler, who has also ridden the legendary waves of Nazaré. We’re thrilled to announce our accommodation in a beautiful, classic English house, where we’ll be staying in five rooms. The house features a spacious kitchen, and video coaching will be held in the common room equipped with a TV, where we’ll also cover our lectures. You can read some surf-themed books between lessons in the conservatory, which was a favorite spot for enjoying morning coffee last year. In the backyard, you can do morning stretches, and of course, we'll have an evening with local delicacies at a BBQ.

How to get here

Traveling from the Czech Republic to Newquay with one transfer through London or Manchester offers convenience and a relatively quick journey. For those seeking a cheaper option, taking a night bus from London to Newquay is a great tip.

Moreover, you can use your time in London for sightseeing. You can enjoy some of the main attractions and the atmosphere of this amazing city. London offers a rich history, iconic landmarks, museums, and a vibrant cultural scene.

Of course, there are other options available (such as the nearby Bristol or Birmingham), and if you need further assistance, feel free to reach out, and I'll be happy to help.

So what are you waiting for? Secure your spot now and take your surfing to the next level.
